HEALT CARE – MEDICAL EXPENSES REIMBURSEMENT BAGGAGE INSURANCE
Included in the amount

Every traveller benefits from an insurance policy Europ Assistance included in the amount, for the following guarantees :
1) HEALT CARE
medical advice;
sending of a doctor in cases of emergency;
report of a specialist in foreign countries;
corpse transportation;
return of a relative;
return of the other policy holders;
travel of a relative/ minors accompaniment;
return of a convalescent;
lengthening of the stay;
information and report of corresponding medicines;
interpreter at disposal in foreign countries;
advance of vital and basic expenses;
early return;
advance of penal bail in foreign countries;
report of a lawyer in foreign countries;
sending of urgent messages.
2) BAGGAGE INSURANCE
Europ Assistance provides compensation of damages undergone by baggage and personal belongings the Policy holder had with him at the beginning of the holiday, clothes included, caused by theft, burglary, robbery, bag snatching, loss, miscarriage and avian, up to a maximum coverage of 500,000 € per person in Italy, Europe and countries in the Mediterranean basin, world.
3) MEDICAL EXPENSES REIMBURSEMENT
Following an accident and/or sudden illness, Europ Assistance reimburses medical, pharmaceutical and hospital expenses that the Policy holder has to meet in order to pay medical cares or urgent operations received where the holiday takes place, for the following maximum rates:
- Foreign countries: € 3,000.00
- Italy: € 500.00
For every reimburse a fixed franchise of 35.00 € will be applied for every Policy holder.
HOW TO CALL EUROP ASSISTANCE IN CASE OF NEED
In case of need, everywhere you are, every moment, the Europ Assistance Operation Centre is always in operation, 24h/24h. The Europ Assistance Operation Centre skilled staff is always at your disposal, ready to intervene on your behalf, to suggest you the most appropriate procedures in order to solve every kind of problem in the best way possible, and to authorize some possible expenses.

Europ Assistance has to use the Policy holder data in order to allocate the Policy scheduled guarantees. In order to do that, Europ Assistance needs your assent (under the law D. Lgs. 196/03 - Privacy Code). Therefore, the Policy holder, by contacting (himself or by other people) the Europ Assistance Operation Centre freely provides his assent to his personal and sensible data handling, as it is written in the ‘data handling’ report indicated above.

You will have to immediately communicate to the staff the following information:
1. kind of intervention required;
2. name and surname;
3. Europ Assistance card number;

The guarantee and service text quoted in points 1, 2 e 3 is purely a rough guide.
Effects and restrictions are written in the ‘Conditions of the policy’ booklet, that will be sent to every Policy holder taking part to the holiday.
