ACCOMODATIONS

All tours include carefully chosen hotels, agriturismi, Bed&Breakfasts, and/or guesthouses. When possible accommodations are small family-run establishments representative the local style. In other locations larger chain hotels are selected in order to guarantee adequate standards. With all accommodations we offer the certainty that a room with bathroom, your luggage, and a warm welcome await you at the end of each stage. Huts and gites d’étapes are used for some hiking tours; a small sacrifice of comfort which is greatly offset by the opportunity to discover beautiful places that cannot otherwise be experienced. Each tour lists details of the accommodations to assist you in choosing your vacation.

MEALS

Some tours include meals. Meals may be provided on B&B basis, half board (breakfast and dinner), or full board. Dinners are arranged in the hotel or in outside restaurants; local traditional dishes are included when possible. Lunches are often picnic lunches.

LUGGAGE TRANSFER

All tours include luggage transfer from hotel to hotel allowing you to cycle or walk lightly without the extra weight on the bike or on your shoulders. Each morning after breakfast simply leave your luggage at the reception and you will find it at the next hotel in the afternoon.

ROAD-BOOKS

If you booked one of our self-guided tours you will receive a route description with detailed itineraries, maps, tourist information and notes about the region. This material is available in English; for some tours this information is also available in French or German.

HOT-LINE ASSISTANCE

All tours include hot-line assistance service. You will receive an emergency phone number to reach a Verde Natura team member for tours managed directly by us (Italian and English), or to reach a local contact for tours managed by our partners (local language and English). Your emergency contact will help you solve the problem by phone or in person if necessary. This emergency phone number is active according to the schedule specified in the travel documents.
You can also contact our Verde Natura Italy office Monday through Friday 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

SUPPORT SERVICE PLUS

Some tours include our SUPPORT SERVICE PLUS, an exclusive service to ensure a relaxing vacation experience, especially if this is your first bike tour. In addition to the classic luggage transport and the hot-line number, we provide roadside assistance and/or recovery in case of emergency (illness, mechanical problem that cannot be repaired with the repair-kit). Simply notify us (if you are on a self-guided tour) or your guide (if you are on a guided tour) and within a short time our team member will reach you to solve the problem.

DOGS

What could be more beautiful than to go on vacation with your dog! On many of our self guided tours you can bring your dog. A small extra cleaning fee may be required at each hotel. Trailers for your dog are available for rent on some bike tours. Dogs are not permitted on guided tours and bike-and-boat tours.
